About Rosie
I’m a native entrpreneur, never had a ‘proper’ job, so my journey has included all sorts of fun things like selling hand-customised denim on ebay, a vintage clothing shop and restoring and selling Mid Century furniture.
Setting up a dog walking business back in 2008 was the start of my pet business journey, and currently in 2025, my partner and I still run our own licensed home dog daycare and boarding business, albeit on a much smaller scale than the early dog walking days.
I’n also the co-founder of Yappily – a directory for local and ethical dog pros and pet businesses.
At the core of my business and ethics are supporting the force free, positive, R+ dog community and my talks reflect this. We launched Yappily to help bring visibility to positive pet pros, and I love continuing this with my speaking spots.
And if you’re wondering whether I speak to other business owners, absolutely I do. My non furry speaking engagements have included yoga teachers, coaches and female entrepreneur groups.
